What to Pack

What do I pack for my child's week at Walcamp? See the Summer Camp Clothing and Equiptment List. If your child is staying in a Village Camp (Treehouse Village, Pioneer Village, Teepee Village, Noah's Ark, or Survivor) - please bring a warm sleeping bag or an extra blanket and camping pad. You will be sleeping on a plywood floor or ground cover for these camps.

 

What do I pack for an Adventure Trip Camp? See the Trip Camp Clothing and Equiptment List (Trip Camps include Porcupine Mtns, Whispering Pine Trail Backpack, and Rock River Canoe)

NOTE! Walcamp can provide your backpack if necessary for the trip!

 

Summer Camp Clothing & Equiptment List

The following are suggested items to pack for summer camp.

Please Do NOT bring these items or any or the like to camp - stereo, radio, cell phone, Tape/CD/DVD player, Gameboy, silly string, pocket knives, weapons, gum, food, etc.

Don't forget your completed forms and any medications!!

Bible
Flashlight/batteries		   Sun glasses
Suntan lotion/block (15 SPF)
INSECT REPELLENT! 		  Sleeping bag/pillow
Sheets (optional)


- Clothing -
changes of clothes
underwear
2 pairs of shoes (1 to get wet)
securely fastened sandals
(please... no flip-flops!) 		  1 pair of long pants/jeans
long sleeve sweatshirt
rain gear (light but sturdy)
light jacket
hat/cap for sun protection 		  t-shirts
plenty of socks
swimsuit
pajamas/bathrobe
bandanas


- Toiletries -
comb / brush
toothpaste / brush
 

towel
soap/shampoo
laundry bag

  chapstick
deodorant


- Optional -
extra glasses or contacts
stationary/stamps 		  camera / film
