Village Camps

Pioneer Village (Completed grades 4-8)
This adventure takes you back into the days of the pioneers, sleeping in covered wagons and cooking outdoors. The village is set back in the fields with a real feel as to what it might have been like years ago!

Treehouse Village (Completed grades 4-8)
Nestled in the Walcamp woods, Treehouse Village offers campers the excitement of living among the trees. Other activities could include
swimming, hiking, canoeing, and other traditional activities.

Survivor Camp (Completed grades 4-8)
Survivor is a high adventure experience in which shelters for the week are built and all but 4 meals are prepared outdoors. Campers will learn basic survival skills as well as participate in a variety of team challenges.
One Day Adventure Options
Walcamp offers three exciting programs to campers seeking Christ-based adventures; growing in Christ while exploring the challenges of Rock
Climbing, Canoeing and our on-site Group Initiative Course. These options are available for campers who are in 6th grade and above.
Rock Climbing
Take a beginning course in rock climbing! Beginning with safety and equipment training
by experienced instructors, campers journey to the Mississippi Palisades for a day of Rock Climbing.
Canoeing
Campers will enjoy the beautiful Kishwaukee River with this adventure. Safety and canoe skills will be covered along with testing for canoe competence before the day trip.
G.I.C.
The Group Initiative Course is our on-site challenge course program that provides campers with opportunities to work together on trust, respect, communication, and their
relationship with God. Fun is mixed with challenges for all.
