Available Lessons
The Outdoor Education program at Walcamp offers the chance for a hands-on experiential learning not always available in the class room. Each 90 min lesson focuses on a particular subject and includes a combination of observation skills, discussion, hands-on activities and working together as a team. Classes are conducted outdoors whenever possible.
An ideal group size is 8-12 students, although it varies based upon a school's needs. The lessons are typically at a 5th-6th grade level, but are adjusted based upon the age and abilities of the group. Walcamp instructors are college-age or older, love working with kids, and have expierence in a variety of areas.
