CLIMBING |

Spend the weekend or one day climbing among the scenic bluffs of the Mississippi
Palisades State Park. Well-trained Walcamp staff will lead this adventure. Rock
Climbing is an excellent way to build community within a group.
No climbing experience is necessary prior to the event. Walcamp staff will
teach participants everything they'll need to know. |
GROUP INITIATIVE COURSE |

 The
main focus of the Group Initiative Course (GIC) is to promote and encourage
working and playing together among its participants. The goal is to increase
each person's ability to work as part of a team and to develop in each person
a better appreciation of what he or she can contribute. Through a series of
initiatives, low and high elements, the group will learn to function together
as an effective unit. Participants learn more about how a group works together
and how they work within a group. Individuals may participate at any level.
Involvement is not required, but encouraged.
In-depth processing and discussion after each activity allows participants
to connect the GIC experience to their daily walk with Christ or in the work
place. |

 Do
you know what it means to take a personal walk with Jesus? You will after you've
experienced the Kettle Moraine Day Hike with Walcamp Outdoor Ministries. Being
among God's perfect creation is one of the many tools you will use to experience
Him during this adventure.
Campers and Walcamp staff begin the adventure by spending Friday evening at
Walcamp's peaceful and spacious Family Campground. On Saturday, we'll travel
to Kettle Moraine, Wisconsin and participate in a five, seven, or nine mile
hike (depending on the group's decision). After spending the evening in an Adirondack
style shelter, we'll close the weekend with a meaningful worship. |
