Walcamp offers a variety of camp programs, from the "Traditional Camp" experience -canoeing, archery, mudpit and more- to life outdoors in a Village Camp, and sleeping under the stars in Survivor.
Special Interest camps build on the 'traditional' experience by using activity times to focus on topics like Rocketry, Horseback Riding, or developing and performing Drama skits and Cheerleeding routines.
Otherwise, pack your bags for a Trip Camp, backpacking in the Porcupine Mountains, or canoe ing down the Rock River. Major League Baseball is always a hit, as is the awake-at-night, asleep-all-day option for Owl Nighters!
Interested in learning Christian leadership skills? Try our C.I.T. program, and learn what it takes to be a camp counselor!
In partnership with Voice of Care, Walcamp offers a HandyCamp program designed for persons with physical or mental disabilities. Campers and staff participate together in 1:1 and small group activities. Children and adults are both welcome to participate as campers.
All that, plus interactions with other campers through Bible Studies, games including the entire camp, home-made ice cream, swimming, crafts, S'mores, Camp Songs every night around a fire, and more. See you at camp! |
