NEW! Swimming Lessons (Completed grades 3-5)
Enjoy all that Walcamp has to offer, with the addition of American Red Cross swimming lessons through daily trips to Chamberlain Park Pool in Genoa, just down the road..
NEW! Art Beat (Completed grades 4-6)
Express yourself by using nature as your medium, making something beautiful out of someone else’s trash, working as a team to paint a mural, and creating pottery with methods used by the Native Americans. Extra time spent on advanced arts and crafts projects.
Rocket Camp (Completed grades 3-5)
5...4...3...2...1...Blast off to Rocket Camp! Campers build a model rocket under the expertise of staff supervision and then on Thursday night everyone will watch as they launch their own rockets! Campers will participate in the usual camp activities during the week, with the Rockets being built during Arts and Crafts time. Returning Rocket Campers will build more advanced rockets!
Recreational Sports (Completed grades 3-5)
Do you like sports? Here’s your chance to gain skills and experience in a variety of popular recreational sports. If you want to praise God for your athletic ability... this camp is for you!
Drama Camp (Girls, Completed grades 6-8)
Love improvisation, “Whose Line is it Anyway,” acting, drama, and fun!? Campers will be taught basic drama skills and stage presence, while also participating in traditional camp activities. Campers will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in front of the group, and have lots of fun doing it! NEW!Includes a trip to see a profesional theatre production.
Horsback Riding (Girls, Completed grades 4-8)
Join us for a week of horseback riding! Campers will join the veteran staff of On Eagle’s Wings Equine Center in Kirkland, Illinois (just 15 minutes from Walcamp) for five sessions of training and riding. Beginner and Intermediate options available.
Owl Night (Completed grades 4-8)
Have you ever wondered what goes on when you sleep? Ask any Owl Night Veteran and this word will be part of their answer... “Fun!” Turn your clocks around and experience life at night in God’s creation and the local community. |
