One-Day Adventure Options
What is a "One-Day Adventure Option?"
Adventure Options are camp weeks where we take a camp week like Jr. High Happenings or Treehouse, and exchange one 'typical' day of camp activities with a special adventure activity designed esspecially for older campers or those who have attended a particular camp or village before and want to try something different.
These options are available for campers who are in 6th grade and above.
Group Initiative Course
The GIC Course is our on-site challenge course program, providing campers with opportunities to work together on trust, respect, communication, and their relationship with God. Fun is mixed with challenges for all.
NEW! Drama Camp Theatre Performance
This year, campers enrolled in Drama Camp will be taking a one-day trip to watch a professional theatre production .
Canoeing
Canoe down the mighty Kishwaukee River, starting several miles from Walcamp at a local park and ending back at camp.
Indoor Rock Climbing
Campers travel to Vertical Endeavors in Warrenville, IL. for a day of fun on their indoor Rock Climbing Gym.
Scheduling
Walcamp includes One-Day Adventure Options in a select number of camps in the Jr. High and Sr. High age range. Please reference the Session Schedule to determine which sessions include a one-day Adventure Option.
