Housing Facilities
The Lodge - Sleeping area for up to 64 people with bunk style housing arranged into three (3) sleeping areas, shower/bathroom facilities, and a small activity room for crafts or board games.
Oak and Maple Cabins - a common meeting room with fire place and dormitory-size refrigerator, 2 sleeping areas with 7 bunk style beds and a shower/ bathroom facility in each area. Each cabin has a large outdoor fire pit with benches for 20.
Meeting Facilities
Lodge Dining Hall - Dining hall & meeting area, with seating space for groups of 100. Meals are served cafeteria style from a kitchen area that is inspected regularly by the Illinois Department of Health. The dining hall is also furnished with a projection screen, TV/DVD unit, and an indoor fireplace.
Lodge Activity Room - Small activity center with seating for about 15-20 and furnished with a white board. Great for playing board games and/or craft projects
Thiel Nature Center - Small meeting area with seating space for groups of 40.
Amphitheater - Outdoor theater with seating space for 200, situated around a stage area and altar, and overlooks the lake.
Pavilion - Open-air building with 30 picnic tables, fireplace, horseshoe pits, restrooms, and a volleyball net.

Camp Store
The camp store provides guests the the opportunity to purchase Walcamp snack items and/or souvenirs. The store is run by Walcamp staff and is open each day. Prices and items can be found by visiting our Camp Store webpage.
Activity Areas
Archery Range: Our archery range meets ACA safety standards and is supervised by our trained staff.
Waterfront: Canoeing and Swimming events take place under the eyes of Red Cross certified lifeguards. The equipment is inspected regularly and meets ACA safety standards. River Floats in the nearby Kishwaukee river are also supervised by a lifeguard.
